Carnoustie & North East – Cruden Bay- 6395 yds – Par 70
It is claimed that golf was played in the village of Cruden Bay as early as 1791. The present layout of the course is as a result of it being redeveloped in 1926. Many of Tom Morris’s original green sites and basic routing are still in evidence. Cruden Bay is one of the best links courses in Scotland, confirmed by the fact that it is ranked in the top 40 courses in Britain and in the top 100 courses in the World by ‘Golf World’ and Golf Magazine’.
The course creates unique challenges demanding the skills of power, placement and fine judgement upon the discerning golfer. Set against a backdrop of subtly contoured greens and magnificent panoramic views, your visit to Cruden Bay Golf Course will be a most memorable one.
