The Mansfield House Hotel

Mansfield House is a luxury country house hotel built in the 1870's and substantially extended in 1902 by the then Provost of Tain. [history]

A purpose built new wing was added to the hotel in the early 1980's, increasing the number of bedrooms available to twenty.
Mansfield House retains many of its fine original Maitland features including pine panelling and ornate plaster ceilings, and has been completely refurbished in the last 3 years to 4 star standard.

The ten bedrooms in the Victorian part of the house are furnished with antiques, and many have jacuzzi baths.
The bedrooms in the new wing are large, comfortable en-suite twin, double or family rooms, the latter sleeping up to two adults and two children.

The newly created Tower Suite comprises a double and a twin bedroom with a spacious bathroom and a private sitting room.

There is access to the roof of the Tower with its spectacular views.
